Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Design
    • Mirror your design before printing
    • Print on sublimation paper using sublimation ink
  2. Pre-Press the Puzzle (Crucial!)
    • Lightly press the puzzle for 5–10 seconds
    • Removes moisture and ensures it lays flat
  3. Protect Your Setup & Position Materials
    • Place butcher paper or Teflon sheet on the bottom platen
    • Lay puzzle face up on the paper
    • Place sublimation print face down on the puzzle
    • Secure with heat-resistant tape
    • Alternative: Place print face up, puzzle face down
    • Cover with another sheet of protective paper
  4. Press & Monitor
    • Press using the recommended settings
    • Monitor time and pressure carefully
  5. Post-Press Care
    • Peel sublimation paper immediately while puzzle is still hot
    • Allow to cool flat on a surface
    • Optional: Place a light book on top to prevent warping
