Printing a JPEG or PNG from Windows
Printing a JPEG or PNG from Windows
(The steps for printing a PNG file are exactly the same as for a JPEG!)
The easiest way is to use the built-in Windows Photos app.
-
Find Your Image: Go to the location where you saved your image (e.g., your Desktop or Downloads folder).
-
Right-Click and Print: Right-click on the image file (whether it’s a .jpg or .png) and select Print.
-
The “Print Pictures” Window: This window is specially designed for photos.
-
Visual Cue: Show a screenshot of the ‘Print Pictures’ dialog in Windows, highlighting the layout options on the right.
-
A. Printer, Paper Size, Quality, Paper Type: At the top, make sure you have the Epson L121 selected and choose the correct paper size (e.g., Letter, 4×6 in), quality (High is best for photos), and paper type (e.g., Photo Paper Glossy).
-
B. Layouts: On the right-hand side, choose how you want the image to appear on the page.
-
C. Fit picture to frame: Check this box to ensure your photo’s edges aren’t cropped.
-
-
Print! Choose your layout, set the number of copies, and click Print.
