Machine Tour, Power Up & Registration

Let’s get your Cameo 5 powered up and familiarize you with its parts.

Step 1: Powering Up:

Plug the AC adapter into the back of the Cameo 5 and into a wall outlet. Press the power button on the right side of the machine. The machine’s touch screen should illuminate.

Step 2: A Tour of Your Cameo 5:

Let’s get familiar with the main parts you’ll interact with regularly:

• Power Button: Located on the right side, turns the machine on/off.
• Lid: Protects the internal components.
• Rollers: These grip your mat or material to feed it through the machine.
• Tool Carriage 1 (T1) & Tool Carriage 2 (T2): These are where your blades and other tools are inserted. T2 is the new powered carriage, offering more possibilities.
• Crosscutter: A handy built-in tool for cutting vinyl or other roll materials cleanly from a roll.
• Storage Compartment: A small area for storing your tools or accessories.
• Roll Feeder: An attachment for feeding rolled materials smoothly.
